About Me

I have a lot of interests. I guess you could call them hobbies. My biggest hobby is genealogy and crocheting comes in a very close second.

I am a merchandising rep for several companies. Most of my work is contract work – meaning that I work for myself. In my free time I like to unwind by doing genealogy research, crocheting, and of course writing about what I do.

I also like riding motorcycles

I’ve had my motorcycle endorsement for a couple of years now. I started out with a Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 which I quickly upgraded to a 2020 Street Bob. But that didn’t last very long. A car passed me on a curve and I was unable to make the curve and ended up in the median with a broken arm, broken thumb and fractured both ankles. I was very fortunate. I now have a Yamaha with a side car. I just can’t hold a big bike up while stopped. I still have a bit of PTSD. I’m working on it.

But even through everything, I keep my head up and try to do what I love.
