Afghans & Blankets

I placed the Afghans & Blankets under the Tunisian Entrelac category because most of the ones I make, I use this type of crochet.  Entrelac is way of connecting squares of afghan stitch together as you work them instead of making a bunch of squares and having to join them.  It works up pretty quick.

The traditional method of entrelac is to chain the whole width of your completed project and then work your squares from there.  But the squares in my bottom row are not always the same color.  Also I may not want it that wide.  I work the first square and get an idea of how many squares I will crochet and I work from a graph pattern (I usually make them myself).  My first row is one square.  My second row is the 2nd bottom square and then diagonally to the left is my second square from the bottom.  My third row is 3 squares consisting of the 3 square across the bottom and again diagonally to the left the 2nd square 2nd row and finally the 3rd square from the bottom.  It allows me to change colors easily and I work my pattern in these squares.

I've got a few projects listed below (some might not be finished yet)
