Christmas Table Runner

 

I love making Christmas items for my family. This is a table runner I made in Tunisian Crochet (Afghan Stitch). I used 100% cotton yarn for this. It’s the yarn I use to make my potholders. I’m hoping to make some matching potholders to go with this and give as a gift.

I don’t really have a pattern for this. I just crocheted rows and changed colors evry 5 rows until I got a desired length. The edging down the long sides is just a single crochet and the edging on the ends are a chain stitch that I connected at intervals.

This projects measures 9 inches x 24 inches. I cannot remember what size hook I used.
